JoVE articles with videos are published in PubMed for free after a 2-year embargo. Here are step-by-step instructions to successfully view an entire JoVE video for free (normally limited to 2 minutes).

1) Go to https://www.apu.edu/library/ scroll down and click on Articles and Databases, then click "View All Databases," scroll down and click the letter P, scroll in the Ps to the bottom and click PubMed.

2) In PubMed, click on advanced search, choose journal, and type Journal of visualized experiments : JoVE. Click search. Results are at least 10,709 items.

3) On the left click "Custom Range" and in start date type 2006-01-01 in the end date type 2018-12-31. Click Search. Results are at least 8,265 items.

4) Click on any title, then on the right under FULL TEXT LINKS, click on "PMC FREE Full Text." Scroll down in the article a couple of inches and click on the embedded video. You'll be able to watch the whole thing.

Note: If you try to click on a video link that has JoVE in it or the words "Play Video" you will get a video that says "This is a sample clip. Sign in or start your free trial. A subscription to JoVE is required to view this content. You will only be able to see the first 20 seconds."

About 50 Covid-19 related videos are available free. Click here to access.
