Q. Finding an article with the DOI or Pubmed ID using Article Finder

To find out if the library has a subscription to an article and if you have the DOI or the Pubmed ID. Do the following: Go to apu.edu/library. Click on the "Articles & Databases" tab. Then click on "Article Finder" right below the search box. On the next screen, the field that says "identifier", change the drop-down to DOI (or Pubmed ID). Then Copy & Paste your DOI (or Pubmed ID) into the field marked DOI (or Pubmed ID). Then click on "Search". On the next screen, if we have a subscription to the journal, click on "view fulltext". Otherwise, click on "request from interlibrary loan" to order through interlibrary loan. You will receive the article free of charge in 2-3 business days on average in your APU email.
